Wheel-Throwing Taster Session for Two

Curious about pottery? This taster session for two is a great way to explore the magic of clay together. Whether you're friends, partners, or just pottery-curious, you'll share a fun and creative experience learning the basics of wheel-throwing—no experience needed!

Over two hours, I’ll guide you both step-by-step through centering clay, shaping forms, and creating your own small pots in a relaxed and supportive environment. You'll each have your own wheel.

At the end of the session, each of you can choose your two favourite pieces to keep. I’ll bisque fire them, glaze them in your chosen colour (from my selection), and fire them again. When they're ready, you’re welcome to collect your finished pots from the studio, or I can post them to you (just cover the shipping costs).

This session makes a thoughtful gift or a fun, hands-on way to try something new together. You'll leave with new skills, good memories, and a couple of handmade pots to show for it.

Once you purchase your session, we'll be in touch to arrange for a date and time for your class that suits us both.

Cancellation Policy

Once we’ve set a date and time for your private session, please note that fees are non-refundable. That said, we completely understand that schedules can change. If something comes up and you cannot attend, we'll do our best to  reschedule your session as long as you let us know at least one week in advance. Rescheduling can be done up to two times, so we encourage you to choose dates that work well for you.

We reserve the right to cancel or make changes to any courses, workshops, or sessions. If we need to cancel, we will do our best to provide an alternative date, and if you are unable to attend, you will receive a full refund. In cases where a course date changes after the course has started, for example due to tutor illness or other unforeseen circumstances, we will make every effort to find a replacement date that works for everyone or make suitable arrangements directly with you.
