White Carved Bowls (Set of 2)

Set of 2, handmade wheel-thrown bowls, made with grey stoneware and glazed in glossy white. The hand carved exterior of the bowls giving them a lovely rustic look.

I have used different tools to carved the surface of these bowls, which feels lovely to the touch and looks great.
This fluted pattern encourages the glaze to pool in the deeper areas while it pools away from the higher ridges, exposing the natural colour of the clay I used to make these bowls.

These bowls are very versatile and they will become a permanent fixture on your table. The right size for a generous breakfast of cereal or a nice soup for lunch...
With an elegant shape they feel welcoming while at the same time are robust enough so you can enjoy them everyday. This set of bowls will make the perfect present for a love one or even better, for yourself!

The Carved collection is my latest work, a series of mugs and bowls hand carved using different tools and patterns. Although this technique takes a lot of time...I am loving the results. Hope you like them too!

* Oven, dishwasher and microwave-safe. I recommend hand-washing handmade stoneware in general.
* All glazes are food safe (lead-free).
* As with all ceramic cook-dinnerware, please avoid subjecting the pieces to extreme thermal shock. Sudden transfer from hot to cold temperatures and vice versa can cause damage (cracking) to the piece.
* Ceramic pieces will get hot when heated or if containing just boiled liquids (especially the ones made with black clay) so please be careful when handling them.
* Since all my pieces are handmade, no two items are exactly alike but I do make sure the pictures show them as realistically as possible.
