Private (1-2-1) wheel-throwing taster session

Curious about pottery? This one-to-one taster session is the perfect way to get your hands on the wheel and explore the magic of making something from clay. In this two-hour session, you'll learn the basics of wheel-throwing in a relaxed, supportive environment — no experience needed!

I'll guide you step-by-step through centering clay, shaping forms, and creating your own small pots. It’s a fun, focused introduction to pottery, perfect for total beginners or anyone looking to try something new.

You'll be able to choose your two favourite pieces at the end of the session. I'll bisque fire them, glaze them in a colour of your choice (from my selection), and then fire them again. Once they're ready, you can either collect your finished pots from the studio or have them posted to you (you'll just have to cover the cost of the shipping).

This session makes a lovely gift or a mindful break from the everyday. Come away with new skills, a sense of accomplishment, and  your first handmade pot.
