Private (1-2-1) wheel-throwing taster session

Curious about pottery? This one-to-one taster session is the perfect introduction to the magic of working with clay. You’ll enjoy a focused, hands-on experience at the wheel, learning all the basics in a relaxed and supportive studio—no experience needed!

I’ll guide you step-by-step through centering clay on the potter's wheel, shaping small forms and creating your own unique pots.

It’s a fun and mindful way to try pottery for the first time, or as a thoughtful gift for someone special. At the end, you’ll select your favourite two pieces to keep. I’ll bisque fire and glaze them in your chosen colour (from my selection), then fire them again. Once ready, you can collect your finished pots from the studio or have them posted to you (just cover the postage).

Cancellation Policy

Once we’ve set a date and time for your private session, please note that fees are non-refundable. That said, we completely understand that schedules can change. If something comes up and you cannot attend, we'll do our best to  reschedule your session as long as you let us know at least one week in advance. Rescheduling can be done up to two times, so we encourage you to choose dates that work well for you.

We reserve the right to cancel or make changes to any courses, workshops, or sessions. If we need to cancel, we will do our best to provide an alternative date, and if you are unable to attend, you will receive a full refund. In cases where a course date changes after the course has started, for example due to tutor illness or other unforeseen circumstances, we will make every effort to find a replacement date that works for everyone or make suitable arrangements directly with you.

Once you purchase your session, we'll be in touch to arrange for a date and time for your class that suits us both.
