Blue/Green Mug

Wheel-thrown coffee or tea mug/cup. Made with flecked stoneware clay and a variegated blue glaze with green hues.
What makes this mug special is the glaze finish. It has a beautiful satin texture in a mix of matt and gloss finish. I brushed very thin slip over the body of the mug to create a wavy surface. The glaze pools in this textured surface creating a very interesting finish. The generous handle, 2-3 fingers depending on the size ;) is very very comfortable.
One off, with a nice generous size for those of you that like a big cuppa!

The price listed is for a single mug.

* Oven, dishwasher and microwave-safe. I recommend hand-wash handmade stoneware in general.
* All glazes are food safe (lead-free).
* As with all ceramic cook-dinnerware, please avoid subjecting the pieces to extreme thermal shock. Sudden transfer from hot to cold temperatures and vice versa can cause damage (cracking) to the piece.
* Ceramic pieces will get hot when heated or if containing just boiled liquids (especially the ones made with black clay) so please be careful when handling them.
* Since all my pieces are handmade, no two items are exactly alike but I do make sure the pictures show them as realistically as possible.
