Group Wheel-Throwing Taster Session

Looking for a creative and hands-on group experience? This wheel-throwing taster session is perfect for a small group of people (3-4) to try pottery together in a relaxed and fun setting. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just looking for something different to do with friends or family, this session is a great introduction to the pottery wheel—no experience necessary!

Over the course of two hours, I’ll guide you through the basics of wheel-throwing, including how to centre the clay and shape your own small forms. Everyone will get individual attention and their own wheel to practice.

At the end of the session, each person can choose their two favourite pieces to keep. I’ll bisque fire them, glaze them in your chosen colours (from my selection), and fire them again. Once finished, your pots can be collected from the studio or posted to you (just cover the cost of shipping).

This group session is ideal for birthdays, creative outings, or just a memorable day out with your friends or family. You’ll leave with a new skill, some laughs, and a couple of handmade pots to treasure.
