A cute twist on a traditional egg box. Besides being pretty, this little tray is very practical too. The tray has been hand moulded from a slab of clay into the perfect shape and size to hold 6 eggs.
I have carved the surface so the natural look of the speckled clay and the carved surface comes through the glaze giving it a beautiful rustic finish.
Dimensions (approx.):
1. Gloss white: 2cm height x 16cm length x 11.7cm width.
2. Satin Blue: 2cm height x 15 cm length x 10cm width (Please note this tray is sightlier smaller and therefore more suited for smaller eggs, photograph showing medium free range eggs)
* Oven, dishwasher and microwave-safe. I recommend hand-wash handmade stoneware in general.
* All glazes are food safe (lead-free).
* As with all ceramic cook-dinnerware, please avoid subjecting the pieces to extreme thermal shock. Sudden transfer from hot to cold temperatures and vice versa can cause damage (cracking) to the piece.
* Ceramic pieces will get hot when heated or if containing just boiled liquids (especially the ones made with black clay) so please be careful when handling them.
* Since all my pieces are handmade, no two items are exactly alike but I do make sure the pictures show them as realistically as possible.
