Carved Candle Holder

Wheel-thrown carved candle holder. A simple and elegant tapered candle holder made of grey stoneware clay and finished on glossy white or soft matte white. All similar in shape, they have been carved with different patterns so they are all unique.

The Carved collection is my latest work, a series of mugs and bowls hand carved using different tools and patterns. Although this technique takes a lot of time...I am loving the results. Hope you like them too!

* The holder will get hot when in contact with the flame so please be careful and hold it by the base and not the neck once the candle has burnt down all the way down.
* As with all ceramic, please avoid subjecting the pieces to extreme thermal shock. Sudden transfer from hot to cold temperatures and vice versa can cause damage (cracking) to the piece.
* I recommend hand-wash handmade stoneware in general.
* All glazes are lead-free.
* Since all my pieces are handmade, no two items are exactly alike but I do make sure the pictures show them as realistically as possible.
